Greens Update from the Greens Committee

Progress on the Course

The Greens committee would like to thank all members who have shown support and expressed their thanks for the hard work and improvements on the course. Visitors returning to play at Llanfairfechan Golf Course during competition week could not believe the difference in the course.

Although some work has been carried out on the greens, there is still a lot more to be done. Under the advice of a qualified Green keeper, Mr Ben Williams, it was agreed that this work should take place in the months of September and October. To carry out intensive work on them at this time of year could destroy them and spoil you enjoyment of the playing season. It is therefore our intention to employ outside specialist contractors to carry out this work later in the year.

There has been a definite positive feeling in the club of late and with your continued support and the hard work of Roy, Lyndon and the volunteers on the course we intend to go from strength to strength.
